Presented in 2021, the Stark is the work of the Swedish start-up, Stark Future, which is based in Spain, near Barcelona.
If the first version of the electric enduro immediately enjoyed great commercial success, its new version has everything to achieve the same success.
The Stark Varg EX (120 kg) is now approved for driving on roadswhich is certainly an added advantage for this electric motorcycle offering adjustable performance ranging from a 125 cc two-stroke to a 450 cc four-stroke (until 80 horses). It is in fact equipped with flexible turn signalsof a 4,000 lumen front headlight and a license plate holder.
Riders can customize performance with options for power management, engine braking and regeneration curves, adjustable via a handlebar control (5 modes available). It also has a 7.2 kWh cellular magnesium batterywhich, in addition to powering the motorcycle, serves as a structural component. With a autonomy increased by 20% compared to the VARG MX, it fully recharges in just two hours thanks to the included charging stand.
An electric motorcycle for offroad and on the road
Among the features of the Stark Vag EX, we find a steel frameand carbon fiber subframea suspension KYBa belly pan reinforced with impact-absorbing foam, a chain guide, CNC machined hubs, steel spokes, alloy rims and the control and navigation device running Android Stark Arkenstone. Equipment that allows real-time adjustment of the motorcycle’s power, step-by-step navigation and community sharing of routes to download and follow the routes taken by other riders.
The Strong Wolf EX is available in two versions : standard from 12,900 euroset Alpha (80 horsepower) from 13,900 euros. Pre-orders are already open, for first deliveries expected in the first quarter of 2025.
