The adventure began in Fort-de-France for Angélique Angarni-Filopon, more precisely on the date of Saturday September 14, 2024. At the end of the ceremony, in which the former boss of Miss Sylvie Tellier and Ève Gilles, Miss France 2024, participated in particular, it is a certain Angélique Angarni-Filopon who won the Miss Martinique 2024 sash. It was Chléo Modestine, winner of the 2023 edition, who crowned her at the end of the evening. This promising journey continued on the Miss France stage this Saturday, December 14. Angélique Angarni-Filopon was able to distinguish herself at each stage of the competition, until winning the crown.

Angélique Angarni-Filopon is 34 years old and 1.83 m tall. And this was not her first participation in the competition. More than ten years ago, she had already stood for election and was elected first runner-up to Miss Martinique 2011. On the professional side, after having been a commercial advisor for Air France, the young woman began training successfully completed the AeroSchool in 2017, which allowed her to become a flight attendant for Air Caraibes the same year. Angélique Angarni-Filopon was then a bilingual executive assistant from 2020 to 2023 in Paris before becoming cabin crew for Corsair, until the election of Miss Martinique 2024. The very day of the competition, she posted several photos of her on her Instagram account with a caption that defines her: “I am the transition between being a woman of today and a woman of tomorrow.
Women: These women with emotions, with ambitions, aspirations. An identity that goes beyond a physical appearance. But before and above all the one who wants to speak out about the riches of her island, its diversity, its potential, its diversity, and its impact here and elsewhere.”

From her first appearances on the stage of the Arena Futuroscope, Angélique Angarni-Filopon, Miss Martinique, was able to captivate the public and the jury with her charisma and presence. She excelled in all aspects of the competition, from choreography to swimsuit parades, including representation in regional costume. She didn't flinch either when answering the questions asked during the evening. The tension rose a notch with the announcement of the top 5 finalists: Miss Martinique, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Miss Guadeloupe, Miss Côte d'Azur, and Miss Corsica. The final podium saw Miss Côte d'Azur elected fourth runner-up, followed by Miss Guadeloupe as third runner-up, Miss Corsica as second runner-up, and Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais as first runner-up. The crown finally went to Miss Martinique, a consecration for this young woman of 34 years who had never given up her dream of winning the crown. The oldest of this 95th edition cried when her victory was announced : “It is an honor to stand before you. When I won the Miss Martinique competition, I told the people of Martinique that we were going to do it together. And we did it together! THANKS !“
