Write and transcribe more easily
One UI 7 relies heavily on AI to transform the use of Galaxy smartphones. The objective is clear: to make users' lives easier thanks to intelligent and accessible tools. Galaxy AI, Samsung's artificial intelligence engine, then sees its capabilities enriched:
- Advanced writing help : whether it is summarizing a text, correcting a mistake, writing a formal email or generating notes, these tools work directly in any application. No need to switch between multiple software programs: everything is integrated and much smoother.
- Automatic call transcription : this feature transcribes recorded telephone conversations in real time in 20 languages. A revolution for professionals and students who no longer have to take notes manually or use a dubious third-party application.
Clean design and more customization
In addition to its technical advances, One UI 7 offers a complete overhaul of its design. The emphasis is placed on a minimalist, clean and functional interface:
- La Now Bar : this new toolbar centralizes real-time information such as music, important notifications or stopwatches. Placed on the home screen, it eliminates the need to constantly unlock the phone.

A revisited photo interface
Photography and video enthusiasts are not left out. Samsung completely redesigns the camera interface, with simplified access to advanced settings.
- Reorganized commands : essential settings are now grouped together in the lower part of the screen, for intuitive one-handed use.
- Pro mode revisited : in photos and videos, this mode offers simplified options, allowing you to better concentrate on the subject. The new zoom control adds a professional touch to videos, with smooth speed management.

When will One UI 7 features be available?
Currently in beta, One UI 7 is available for Galaxy S24 series users in select countries including Germany, India, Korea, and the United States. However, the inhabitants of France will not have to wait very long since the official launch is planned for the first quarter 2025 with priority given to the new devices in the Galaxy S series. So just a little more patience.
