Two days before the African Ballon d’Or award ceremony, the name of the future winner has reportedly leaked.
The Ballon d’Or award ceremony will take place this Monday in Morocco, in Marrakech. CAF has published the five finalist players to succeed the Nigerian. Five players are finalists for this prestigious title: Achraf Hakimi (Morocco, PSG), Serhou Guirassy (Guinea, Stuttgart/Dortmund), Ademola Lookman (Nigeria, Atalanta), Ronwen Williams (South Africa, Mamelodi Sundowns) and Simon Adingra (Côte d’Ivoire, Brighton).

Only two days before this ceremony, the name of the future winner would have already leaked. On Al Ahly TV, a journalist announced Achraf Hakimi as Osimhen’s successor.
Hakimi African Ballon d’Or?
This Saturday, December 14, an unexpected revelation on Al Ahly TV ignited the powder: the name of Achraf Hakimi should be the big winner of the African Player of the Year award.

Al Ahly TV also specifies that the other men’s prizes also seem predictable: For the national team of the year, it is Ivory Coast, reigning African champion, which will win this prize.
South African goalkeeper Ronwen Williams will be crowned goalkeeper of the year ahead of André Onana and Yahia Fofana.

Al Ahly and their winger Hussein El Shahat would dominate the Club and Interclub Player of the Year categories.
