Cameras, microphones, an improvised studio dining room, and off we go for two days of live broadcast. Since Saturday December 14 at 10 a.m., the Knackknackprod channel has been broadcasting, on the Twitch platform, a live charity, a series of challenges, activities and games.

At the helm, a group of friends, professionals and audiovisual enthusiasts based in Strasbourg. “The goal is for people to follow us throughout the weekend, and for them to feel a little at home, at home with us.“, explains Justine Muller, from the KnackKnack Production association. With one objective: to collect €1,000 in donations for Secours Populaire, by encouraging spectators to get involved.

After two hours of live broadcast, a third of the objective was already achieved. The videographers were inspired by the Z Event, an annual charitable project created in 2016 which reached 10 million euros in donations during each of its last three editions, each time for different associations or NGOs.

For two days, volunteers carry out activities to encourage their audience to donate for Secours Populaire.

On the program, cooking recipes, the making of Christmas decorations, video game and board game sessions, a blind test and even a role-playing game on the theme of the Strasbourg Christmas market. And the organizers have promised some crazy rewards or challenges as the prize pool grows.
