THE budget issues are definitely commonplace. In Besançon, it is now the Grandir Ensemble association which is sounding the alarm. She is the head of the Montessori school in the Comtoise capital. To continue its activity, she throws a jackpot.

Created in 2012, the school initially welcomed seven children. They are now 50 children, aged 3 to 11 to do school according to the principles of Maria Montessori, Italian doctor and teacher. This method is based on experience and manipulation. “The added value of the Montessori school is based on caring support, non-violent communication, the development of individuals, cultural and social diversity thanks to these attractive registration fees”, explains the Growing Together association. For its operation, this associative school relies on volunteer investment from parents in its operation (work, cleaning, communication, events, etc.).

If these principles have allowed the school to appeal to families, today and after twelve years of existence, the association lack of means. It is struggling to achieve a sustainable financial balance for spring 2025, a balance which would allow it to remain a school open to all. The association at the head of the school is therefore launching a fundraising via a prize pool on Leetchi. The money raised must allow the school to continue, but also “to carry out new projects, provide a secure working environment for the teaching team and the best learning conditions for the children”.
