Attention black ice ! The department of Côte d’Or was placed in yellow warning for snow and ice this Friday at the end of the day by Météo France.

According to Météo Côte d’Or, “light rains are returning to the south and east of the department which, in contact with cold air in low layers, could temporarily become freezing“. It will therefore be necessary to be particularly vigilant on the roads tonight and tomorrow morning.

The weather will remain gloomy and gray on Saturday but temperatures will remain positive, between 3°C and 6°C, within seasonal values.

The sky will clear on Sunday

During the night from Saturday to Sunday, further falls of rain mixed with snow are possible in the north-east of the department.

Fog and a mixture of rain and snow are also on the agenda on Sunday morning in the south-west of the department. The sky will eventually clear over Dijon and the south of the Côte d’Or in the second part of the day.

For next week, temperatures should cool down again and approach seasonal norms. We could expect mixed and quite cold weather.
