“The Polti Kometa team distinguished itself by competing with dedication in each race, impressing with its performances both in Italy and abroad. The team continues to embody the values of seriousness, respect, sustainability and innovation that we also defend as a company, which once again proves the strength of being a team within a team “, commented Francesca Polti, President and CEO of the Polti Group.
She was a strong advocate of the company’s return to the world of cycling, a sport where Polti was an undisputed leader for 17 years, from 1983 to 2000.
Among the key sponsorship opportunities and objectives was improving awareness of the Polti brand. To this end, the results were periodically measured and quantified. During the Giro d’Italia, Polti received over 861 hours of television exposure in ten countries. A survey (CAWI survey conducted by NextDifferent on a sample of 1,009 people) revealed that 84% of respondents recognized the Polti brand and its products, an increase of three percentage points compared to the survey carried out before the Giro . The iconic products Polti Vaporella and Polti Vaporetto also saw their awareness increase by 2 and 5 percentage points, respectively. Polti ranked as the third best-known brand at the Giro d’Italia, after Enel and Gazzetta dello Sport, and ahead of brands like Toyota and Lidl.
For the upcoming season, Polti aims to further amplify its value-driven message, leveraging increasingly innovative tools and methods, in synergy with Visit Malta, who will join the event as main co-sponsor. This approach fits perfectly into the company’s DNA.
