The 2024 Nobel Prize was mourned by the death of the princess Birgittasister of the king Carl Gustafon December 4. The holding of the ceremony was never in question, but the queens Silvia et Victoria from Sweden decided to pay tribute to their tragically deceased relative.
The Nobel Prize is a major event, where the crowned heads of this world pride themselves on chemistry, physics, economics, medicine, literature and peace. A unique blend that returns every year on December 10. The ceremony is presided over by the Swedish and Norwegian sovereigns, in a ceremony governed by a precise dress code: evening dresses for women and white tie for men in Stockholm, and a more casual dress code in Oslo.

The looks of the Norwegian royal family for the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony
The 2024 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded in Oslo to Nihon Hidankyoa movement of survivors of the atomic attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Present at the ceremony were the king Harald and the queen Sonia from Norway, in a turquoise Emilio Pucci suit already seen during the same ceremony in 2015. The princess Mette-Marit also brought out an old outfit: a Valentino embroidered white wool coat, from the fall-winter 2012 collection. Little curiosity: the princess wore pants for the first time during the ceremony

-Haakon and Mette-Marit represented the royal family at the evening dinner. Once again, the princess’s look is already familiar to us, because the dress worn by the future queen, designed by Ole Yde, had already been seen at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in 2014.
