He is accused of having threatened to kill his son’s teacher. A father was in police custody this Wednesday, December 11, explains the Sarreguemines public prosecutor’s office, after this teacher from the Jean-Victor Poncelet comprehensive high school in Saint-Avold, in Moselle, filed a complaint.
According to the prosecutor, Olivier Glady, this student was taken back by this teacher because of his behavior and his lack of work in class. He also encounters relational difficulties with other teachers. But following these remonstrations, the father of the high school student overreacted, describes the prosecution.
First, he sent a threatening email, addressed to the director of the establishment. Then, according to testimony, the father was redirected to the main education advisor, and he then declared: “I’m going to grab him and break his head. With teachers like that, it shouldn’t be surprising that there are Samuel Patys.”
Samuel Paty, history and geography teacher in a high school in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine in Yvelines, was killed in October 2020 by a radicalized young manafter showing caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad to his students.
