A leak due to public works

Since 2:51 p.m., a gas leak has been reported at 3 Montée du Soleil, in Solliès-Pont. The origin of the incident came from a supply pipe damaged by construction equipment operating on public roads. The emergency services, quickly alerted, established a security zone around the site to protect local residents and responders.

13 people involved, no victims

Although 13 people were directly affected by the incident, no injuries were reported. The residents of the area have been secured while GRDF teams are preparing to intervene to plug the leak and restore the situation. The municipal police, present on site, actively collaborate with firefighters and technicians to guarantee optimal management of the operation.

Emergency device mobilized

A major effort was deployed to control the situation. It includes:

  • Two urban fire and protection vehicles.
  • An ambulance ready to intervene if necessary.
  • A command vehicle coordinating operations.

In total, 14 firefighters were mobilized for this intervention. GRDF and the municipal police are working in close collaboration to resolve the incident as quickly as possible.
