The President of the National Assembly, Yaël Brown Pivetaccompanied by the Chairman and CEO of LCP-Assembly national, Emmanuel Kessler, presented the 2024 Political Photography Prize of the National Assembly – LCP to Cyril Bitton.
The Prize award ceremony for this second edition of the National Assembly political photo – LCP, which rewards each year a remarkable photograph relating to political news and its actors, took place this Tuesday, December 10 at the Hôtel de Lassay.
The jury, made up of eight deputies and eight personalities from the world of photography or the media, including the photographer Bettina Rheims, vice-president of honor, designated the 8 finalists of the competition. Their photographs are exhibited to the public in the Salle des Pas-Perdus of the National Assembly during the month of December.
They awarded 1st prize to Cyril Bitton, who thus received a prize of 2,000 euros, for his photograph “The cold shower”, taken on the evening of the 2nd round of the legislative elections (July 7, 2024).
