The smartphone series Galaxy S25 will be launched again very early next year, from January 2025 during an event Galaxy Unpacked which could also provide the first information on connected glasses.
The manufacturer Samsung will renew its range of reference smartphones by integrating the latest mobile processors of the moment but the main lines, both in the design and in the functionalities will be preserved, always with the contribution of artificial intelligence via the environment Galaxy AI introduced with the Galaxy S24.
What influence do these guidelines have on the price of smartphones? The site WinFuture found the price list a priori planned for the Swedish market and which could be applied to all of Europe, barring last minute changes.
The expected prices for the Galaxy S25
According to the prices (in Swedish crowns) expected on this market, it would be divided as follows, depending on the on-board storage space:
Galaxy S25
- 128 Go : 899 €
- 256 Go : 959 €
Galaxy S25+
- 256 Go : 1149 €
- 512 Go : 1269 €
Galaxy S25 Ultra
- 256 Go : 1449 €
- 512 Go : 1569 €
- 1 To : 1809 €
According to this initial data, Samsung would therefore not change its price list compared to the Galaxy S24 series of 2024. The Galaxy S25 smartphones will retain the same quantities of storage but they should strengthen in terms of the quantity of RAM to meet the needs of artificial intelligence.
The Galaxy S25 series could thus be equipped with 12 Go to RAM minimum, and up to 16 GB for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It remains to be seen whether the chip Snapdragon 8 Elite of Qualcomm will be integrated into smartphones beyond the Ultra model or if the chip Exynos 2500 will be produced in sufficient quantities to take place in the Galaxy S25 and S25+.
