A change is brewing within the general management of Rieter. The board of directors of the manufacturer of machines and components for the textile industry has appointed Emmanuelle Gmür as new head of human resources and as such a member of the executive committee. As of January 1, she will succeed Tom Ban, who has decided to pursue his career outside the Winterthur group.

With “extensive” international experience and knowledge of the textile industry and human resources, Ms. Gmür assumed responsibility for the latter sector as well as communications from 2013 to 2024 for the Triumph lingerie group, established in Bad Zurzach, in the canton of Aargau, Rieter said on Tuesday. She also worked for this company as an administrator.

Before joining Triumph in 2010 as Head of Learning and Development, Ms Gmür served as Head of Consulting at Qualintra in Geneva. From 1999 to 2006, she held various positions at British Telecom in London. (AWP)
