Incarcerated in Beauvais prison (Oise), Damien Lacroix is not about to leave given his behavior. According to Oise Hebdothis prisoner, convicted sixteen times in the past (for acts of violence, alcohol and drugs while driving, death threats), has just seen his prison sentence extended following numerous insults towards prison staff. He will spend fourteen more months behind bars after a new conviction.
At 42, he is now serving his seventeenth conviction, occurring after events dating back to September 2023. While he was soon to be released, he confided to the head of the disciplinary unit, regarding a supervisor: “In going out, I'm going to buy a 9 millimeter, I'm going to come back and I'm going to shoot him…”
Recurring insults
This Friday, December 7, during his immediate appearance hearing, the detainee and accused does not seem to understand the reasons for this new sentence imposed. It must be said that, three weeks earlier, he had already received four months in prison for rebellion.
In October 2024, he called the integration and probation counselor a “slut” and a “cunt” after accusing her of not preparing for her exit. Friday, he was tried for new insults against prison officers, during their visit to the bar survey. He had closed the cell door with a kick on one of them, forcing the sending of reinforcements.
