In October, net imports of natural gas to Spain reached 23,716 Gigawatt hours (GWh), marking a decrease of 13.6% compared to the same period of the previous year. This decline is part of a constantly evolving energy landscape.
Algeria remains the dominant supplier, delivering 13,754 GWh, representing 53.1% of total Spanish imports. Despite a notable reduction in its volumes, the North African country retains a central role in Iberian energy supply.
