The Vosges revisited. Tourists or local residents, you will soon be able to benefit from the Pass Vosges. A free system, set up by the Vosges and Vosges-tourisme tourist offices. This tool aims to help people discover tourist sites at a lower cost. It was presented this Monday, December 9, 2024 by the president and vice-president of the Vosges Departmental Council.
“The objective is to no longer work only on the snow sector which is very important for the department but to work on different sectors such as forestry, sports activities, well-being and hydrotherapy or even heritage “explains Franck Perry, deputy vice-president for tourism at the Vosges Departmental Council.
To attract as many people as possible, Vosges tourism players have therefore decided to join forces with partner companies to offer visitors but also local residents the opportunity to discover tourist sites at reduced prices, obtain welcome gifts or even aperitifs and coffees offered.
“We wanted to re-establish a pass which aims to allow service providers to benefit customers or tourists, by family, because each card corresponds to a family, from advantageous rates on services, such as museums, shows, catering places”specifies Franck Perry.
The project is about to be launched and is already attracting businesses in the department. More than 112 partners are participating in the initiative at the moment. A good start but the vice-president hopes to attract more: “It’s a start, a year ago it didn’t exist. This is a first draft and we hope to have even more service providers, it is an embryo which is in the process of being deployed. For example, we currently have Fraispertuis or the Bistrot gourmand”.
The Vosges Pass will take effect in January 2025 and should last two years. It will be available in around ten Vosges tourist offices.
