Real Madrid would have Kylian Mbappé in a depressive phase. This is in fact the opinion expressed by Daniel Riolo last month on RMC. An observation which was absolutely not shared by the main person concerned. For Canal+, the captain of the France team denies any depression.
Kylian Mbappé has certainly scored in two of the last three outings of the Real Madrid in La Liga against Gérone (3-0) et Getafe (2-0). In recent weeks, the body language of number 9 of Real Madrid questioned Daniel Riolo.
“I think he’s in a state that’s not far from being depressed.”
The editorialist of RMC confided on the radio last November that Kylian Mbappé showed all the signs of chronic depression on the pitch.
“You have the impression that right now, apart from dealing with his depressive period and the fact that he’s really not doing well at all… I think he’s in a state that’s not far from being a depressive state, yes, of course. With the year he has spent and his condition, I am willing that he is not good, that he is finished, but there are things which, on the ground, reflect a blatant human malaise.”
-“I was tired in Paris, but we are not in depression”
Pour Click, Kylian Mbappé spoke in an interview with Mouloud Achourjournalist from Canal+. Through an interview broadcast on the encrypted channel and took the opportunity to brush aside any speculation of depression emanating from his person.
“I had times when I was tired in Paris, but we are not in depression. There are people who are really depressed. And these are the people we need to help because this is a subject that should never be neglected. It’s a subject that is taboo in football but which should not be neglected. It’s certain that at one point, I felt exhausted. I was tired, I didn’t have any rest periods. I have had sporting disappointments too. Afterwards it’s hard like any human being at work.”
