Do you have the Blues in the back of your mind?
I’m happy to return to France, to play with people I already know. I think the best way to prove what I’m worth is to perform and the Champions League is a great opportunity. If I ever want to be part of the selection, I have to play well, not just in Champions League matches. Obviously these are matches that are seen more. I always have to be at my best.
What is the objective against Stade Brestois?
Tomorrow is a very important match to move up the rankings. We know our goals, we know what we are capable of doing. It’s not difficult to stay focused. When you win, everyone congratulates you, when you lose, they say you’re the worst team, that’s football. It won’t change our focus. Last year, every time we played against the five best teams in the championship, we always had to give our all, it will be the same thing against Brest.
What do you think of Stade Brestois?
It’s going to be a difficult match, we know their qualities, we have analyzed them. If they are where they are today, it is not for nothing. We will have to play with our qualities and our strengths. There is much to fear. The team itself is dangerous, you have to be careful. All players can be decisive, we don’t just focus on one player but on the way the opposing team acts.
