Saturday December 7, during the demonstration in support of the Palestinian people in Paris, an armed man suddenly appeared to threaten the participants, uttering numerous insults, after trying to tear down a sign.
He was disarmed and arrested by the police. (see below on Oumma’s X account the images taken on the spot of the arrest of this dangerous supporter of the genocidal Israeli state)
For weeks, slander and threats have multiplied against those who mobilize for peace and respect for international law. This nauseating climate, maintained by the official narrative of most of the media and many political leaders, encourages violent acts, as we saw yesterday.
France’s refusal to apply the arrest warrants of the International Criminal Court, the acceptance of an event organized by the Israeli far-right to be held in Paris, contribute to conferring a feeling of total impunity on the supporters of the genocide in Gaza.
We denounce this violence and we demand that all light be shed on this serious incident.
We demand an end to the criminalization of the movement of solidarity with the Palestinian people, who, for 14 months, have been able to organize their demonstrations 14 months without any incident.
