The The first mass in Notre-Dame Cathedral since the destructive fire of 2019 was held in the morning, Sunday, December 8. Other masses will follow every evening throughout the so-called “octave” week.
A maximum security event. An exceptional security system is planned in a context of “very high level of terrorist threat”according to the police headquarters, with 6,000 police officers and gendarmes mobilized.
