A dramatic fire occurred during the night from Saturday to Sunday at Freycinet 2 quay.
Nothing remains of the building.
Shortly after 4 a.m., during the night from Saturday to Sunday, the firefighters were called out for a fire in a prefab located at 2499 quai Freycinet 2.
The flames were visible from several kilometers around.
This building is that of the Salvation Army day center.
The firefighters quickly put out the fire.
But there's nothing left, everything went up in smoke.
The local was to accommodate around fifty people this Sunday noon.

Everything is gone, including their personal belongings and their papers which were inside, in their lockers.
Also on site, the association of Friends of Jacques-Bialsky and osn president Philippe: “It's dramatic, there's nothing left. Our volunteers will prepare the meals, there's no problem in that regard. But, where are these people going to go?”
It is a real scene of disarray under gusts of wind and rain that continues to fall.
Firefighters managed to bring the fire under control, but everything was destroyed.
People to find a solution
Shortly after 9 a.m. this Sunday morning, the Salvation Army visited the site, also in the presence of representatives of the City of Dunkirk and the Dunkirk Urban Community.
Once the tragedy was witnessed with their own eyes, it was time to solution to be found for the hours to come.
The clearing took place in front of the few people on the street who joined the day center for its opening this Sunday morning.
Some were in tears.
