The Star Academy broadcast its prime this Saturday, December 7 on TF1, where the students of the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys shone around a main theme: musical comedies.
Maureen is eliminated…
Earlier this week, two groups were formed in the hope of achieving immunity. The first group, composed of Marguerite, Franck, Maïa and Ebony, was saved by the teaching staff, who judged their performance to be more complete.
On the other hand, the second group, including Maureen, Charles, Ulysse and Marine, had to fight to keep their place in the competition. After a new assessment, it was Maureen and Charles who found themselves in danger.
During the prime, marked by many emotions, the verdict fell: Maureen was eliminated from the adventure. She couldn’t hold back her tears when she heard the news. However, she took the time to speak to the host of the first channel before leaving the castle for good.
…and speaks openly about his adventure
“I still have the emotion, but it’s more that I tell myself that I’m going to miss my friends all the same, it’s weird, but frankly, I’m doing the tour, I can’t ask for anything more” the young woman confided to Nikos Aliagas during her comrades’ return to the castle.
She took advantage of this exchange to look back on notable moments, notably her duet with the artist Chimène Badi. “She was so generous, so kind to me, I don’t think you can imagine. We had quite long rehearsals, so I had the chance to chat with her and frankly she is one of the nicest people I have met and I had the chance to do lots of duets with artists, Alyocha Schneider, I was spoiled, Pascal Obispo, Santa, what wonderful artists, thank you Star Academy” she said on the set of studio 217.
Maureen also told Nikos Aliagas that she did not expect at all that the Star Academy takes place in this way. “We don’t realize how much work it is, how much is actually being asked of us, for the public” she said sincerely.
