“West Ham United can confirm that Michail Antonio is in a stable condition following a road traffic collision in the Essex area this afternoon. Michail is conscious and communicating and is currently under close observation in hospital central London at this difficult time, we ask everyone to respect the privacy of Michail and his family,” the statement said.

Details surrounding the incident have since emerged, with Essex County Fire and Rescue Service providing additional information. According to a report from TalkSPORT, Essex Police said: “We were alerted shortly after 12.50pm on Saturday, December 7, in Coppice Row, Epping, following reports of what is believed to be a single vehicle collision, a Ferrari Emergency services responded, and the driver was transported to hospital. The vehicle was secured, and our presence at the scene was terminated. traffic police unit.”

Essex County Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed they are responding to the crash site. In their report, they noted: “Crews were called at 1:02 p.m. for a one-vehicle traffic collision. Firefighters reported a man trapped in his car and worked around the clock to free him by 1:45 p.m. The victim was released to the care of ambulance services.”
