Around twenty firefighters responded to the start of a fire in an abandoned house in Niort on Friday December 6 at night.

A fire broke out in an abandoned house, rue Jean-Pommier in Niort, Friday December 6 around 11 p.m. Nineteen firefighters were mobilized with two vans, a fire hose, an articulated lifting arm, a victim rescue vehicle and a liaison vehicle. They quickly brought the incident under control, and began reconnaissance, in particular to search for potential victims. No injuries have been reported at the time of writing.
