Stade Aurillacois – Valencia

Stade Aurillacois won this Friday evening against Valence-Romans, at home for the 13th PRO D2 day. Valencia doesn't show much, Stade Aurillacois hardly more. But it's enough for the Cantalians who take 4 points through the back door, helped by the indiscipline of the Drôme, who collect 4 yellow cards and 1 red after a gesture of humor from Brice Humbert on the Cantalian Ugo Seunes. Coach Roméo Gontinéac is lucid and wants to change the areas of work.
Our matches are not great. Neither in Biarritz, nor Valencia, but as long as we win, even ugly matches like that, we will still stay in the play-off we will say, we are not out of the water. We couldn't put our game together. It's simple, in the first half we were non-existent, we lost all the balls. Afterwards, fortunately we have the scrum, we recover some balls. Our big problem today is that we no longer know how to duel, we no longer know how to get behind the defense, we only play in front of the defense. We're going to switch things up a little bit from Monday, we're going to work a little differently.
The mood words of the evening go to Fabien Fortassin, the VRDR coach
We did everything not to win the match. It was the easiest game we had to play and we handed it to them on a platter. We can't let games go by that are reaching out to us, we took yellow cards due to the quality of the opponent, but the others… It's disturbing because many worked hard, but a few individuals weighed us down .
Next match for Stade Aurillacois next Friday will be in Agen.
