Samsung announces the public opening of the One UI 7 beta program. When will you benefit from the new OS and on which smartphones?

Samsung has finally decided to officially launch the One UI 7 beta program. The Korean firm had promised that it would arrive before the end of the year. She kept her promise. The beta version of its new OS based on Android 15 is open to the public.

This update marks a significant step forward by offering deep customization and more natural and intuitive interactions.

Who is this beta program for and which smartphones are compatible? The answer is in our article.

One UI 7 – Innovations and Features

One UI 7 introduces cutting-edge AI agents and multimodal capabilities at all levels of the interface.
Among the new features, advanced writing support tools allow you to access writing features anywhere, without having to change applications.
These tools complement existing Galaxy AI features, such as auto-correction, content summarization, and note transcription.

Phone call features are also enhanced, with automatic call transcription in 20 languages, eliminating the need to take manual notes.

A redesigned and intuitive design

The design of One UI 7 has been completely redesigned to offer an advanced level of customization.

The new notification system, the Now Bar, displays information in real time. It allows simplified access from the home screen.

This toolbar, designed for the upcoming Galaxy S series devices. It transforms the user experience and provides instant access to important notifications without unlocking the device.

The camera interface also improves for more intuitive control of advanced settings. The buttons and settings are now at the bottom of the screen. This facilitates access and allows better management of photos and videos.

Deployment and availability

The official rollout of One UI 7 will begin in Q1 2025 on new Galaxy S series devices, with on-board AI features.

Beta version is available for series users Galaxy S24 in Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Users can register for the program through Samsung Members.

Let’s hope that will be the next country on the list and that Samsung will work hard to activate the beta program in France.
