JA , a club playing in National 3, is preparing to take on a major challenge by hosting FC Nantes, on Saturday December 21, for the 32nd finals of the Coupe de . Initially planned at the Charles-Sage stadium in Drancy, the meeting will not be able to be held there in the end. The French Federation (FFF) refused to hold the match in this venue, the seating capacity being insufficient (800 seats only) and the requirements, particularly security, linked to the reception of a Ligue 1 club. not being fulfilled.

The Sequano-Dionysian club had until Thursday to find a solution, otherwise the match would have been reversed and played at the Stade de la Beaujoire in Nantes. Their choice fell on the Bauer stadium, home of Red Star (Ligue 2), in the town of Saint-Ouen.

Thanks to an agreement with the Nantes group Réalités, owner of the Bauer stadium, the match will be able to be held in this venue capable of accommodating up to 4,000 spectators. This decision allows Drancy to maintain the advantage of playing “at home”, even if the field is not theirs. 4,000 tickets will soon be on sale to allow the public to experience this always special meeting.

FC Nantes has already played in this stadium, at the same time of the season, for a 32nd final of the Coupe de France against the Blanc-Mesnil club, in January 2016. This club was in the same situation as Drancy and had had to change venue to maintain home advantage. The match ended in a victory (2-0), under a thin layer of snow, for the Canaries led at the time by Michel Der Zakarian.
