Saturday November 30, an event took place at the Les Blés d'Or nursing home. That day, the establishment vibrated with emotion and joy to celebrate a unique moment: the 100th birthday of Marguerite Tanguy, resident of the nursing home. This is a historic first for Safeguarding 58, on which the establishment depends.
The administrators, Lucile Ribet, general director of Sauvegarde 58, and Emmanuelle Geoffroy, director of the establishment, were unable to be present, but wanted to send their warmest thoughts.
Joy and emotions
After a friendly lunch organized within the establishment, bringing together her children and grandchildren, Marguerite Tanguy had the nice surprise of seeing the residents and the care team of the nursing home gather around her to share this moment unique. Christine Dupont, head of department, brought a sumptuous cake decorated with three figures symbolizing this century of life. The emotion reached its peak when Marguerite saw her sweetheart arrive as well as her nieces, unexpected presences who brightened up this memorable day.
-Under a vibrant “Happy birthday!” » sung by everyone, followed by warm applause, Marguerite Tanguy, radiant, blew out her candles, surrounded by her family and moved to tears. The cake was then shared among residents, team members and family.
“This day will be remembered as a moment of pure happiness, where love and joy enveloped Marguerite Tanguy, our centenarian. »
