Balls, entertainment, country meals, but above all… Fireworks. To celebrate the National Day of July 14, many fireworks shows are offered in Vendée, starting July 12. Here is the list, which we hope is exhaustive. You can also find it on our map.

Friday July 12

Chantonnay. Entertainment and fireworks, from 8 p.m. in the Antonia hall in Chantonnay.

Nieul-Le-Dolent. Festive evening at the Garnes lake from 8 p.m., fireworks at 11 p.m.

Saturday July 13

Noirmoutier-en-l’Île. At 11 p.m., at the port of Herbaudière. With a popular dance from 9:30 p.m. Free shuttles are available from the bus station.

Commequiers. Meet at the castle site at 11 p.m. to admire the fireworks. Catering on site.

The Slice-on-the-Sea. Central beach, from 11 p.m.

Saint Hermine. Country meal from 7 p.m. on the Church Square followed by fireworks with sound at 11 p.m. by Jacques Couturier.

Garden-on-the-Sea. Dance party organized by the city from 9 p.m. Fireworks at the marina at 11 p.m.

Cuddling. Enjoy many activities from 7:30 p.m. at the Doué cultural center in Cugand. Then fireworks.
Montaigu-Vendée. At the Parc des Remparts, concert at 9:30 p.m. and fireworks at 11 p.m., on the theme of the Olympic Games. then ball from 11:15 p.m.

Tiffauges. Ramparts Festival, from 6 p.m., at La Moulinette. Entertainment, catering, dance and fireworks.
Pouzauges. National holiday. Games, rides, bar from 7:30 p.m. At 11 p.m., fireworks at the old castle, then public dance.

Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche. Sardinade and fireworks at Place de la Résistance

The Glasshouse. Open air cinema at 9 p.m. followed by fireworks

Saint Cecilia. Enjoy the summer party in Sainte-Cécile with family or friends. Fireworks at 11 p.m. followed by a dance party.

Saint-Paul-en-Pareds. Popular dance from 7 p.m., near the Kermesse. Bar and catering on site. Concert, DJ and fireworks.

Mouchamps. On the occasion of the “Mou’champêtre” festival, firefighters’ ball, wooden games and a friendly drink from 7 p.m. At nightfall, it’s time for the fireworks.

The Epesses. The festival committee is organizing its traditional fireworks display. Entertainment and dance party starting at 7 p.m. at the Bretèche leisure center.

Bournezeau. Entertainment and fireworks in the Prairie des Humeaux, from 7:30 p.m.

Mortagne-sur-Sevre. Ball with fireworks, starting at 7 p.m., Stéphane-Traineau sports complex.

Banks of Autise. National holiday in the Vignaud park. Entertainment from 9 p.m. followed by fireworks at 11:30 p.m. Bar and catering on site.

Saint-Flaive-des-Loups. Mussels and fries evening at Parc de la Chênaie. Fireworks by Jacques Couturier starting at 11 p.m.

Mervent. At the Pont de la Vallée, concert at 9:30 p.m., parade of canoes and torches. Fireworks at 11 p.m. on the theme of Venice, followed by a popular ball. Catering on site.

Sunday July 14

The Thorn. Am Her Festival, with musical entertainment, sea trips and a rescue demonstration with helicopter winching, exhibitors, games for children, refreshments and pancakes, and from 7 p.m., mussels and sausages and chips. Dance and fireworks from the Port of Morin at 11 p.m.

Noirmoutier-en-l’île. At 11 p.m., Mardi Gras beach, at Viel. Guinguette from 8:30 p.m. Free shuttles are available from the bus station.

Beauvoir-sur-Mer. Popular dance with the Blanchard orchestra from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (parking lot of the sports hall) then fireworks with Mille Feux, at 11 p.m., at the stadium of the sports complex.

The Sables-d’Olonne. Parade during the day (departure at 10:30 a.m. from Place du Tribunal) followed by the traditional fireworks display from the sea pier at 11 p.m. Visible from the Grande Plage, the Remblai and La Chaume.

Soul Lance. Fireworks at Ledesma Square at 11 p.m.

Our Lady of the Mountains. Meet at the Esplanade de la Mer. Lots of entertainment, popular dance with DJ and fireworks at 11 p.m. Bar and restaurant on site. Parking advice: Place du marché – route du fief noumois 900 m from the beach

Saint-Jean-de-Monts. Fireworks from 11 p.m. at Oiseaux Beach designed by Jacques Couturier.

Brétignolles-sur-Mer. Folk fair by the 3BC association, APEL and the Parish, concert (9 p.m.) and fireworks (10:45 p.m.) organized by the city, at the Parc des Morinières.

Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. On the program: parade starting at 10 a.m. accompanied by the Sainte-Cécile fanfare, stroll and concert. Fireworks at 11 p.m. fired from the pier.
Essarts-en-Bocage. Musical evening starting at 9 p.m. at Parc Saint-Michel and fireworks at 11 p.m.
The Copechagnière. Evening from 7 p.m., fireworks at 11 p.m., at the communal pond.

The rock on yon. To round off a weekend of festivities, a fireworks display is planned for 11 p.m. at the Château des Oudairies park. Conceived by the Jacques Couturier Organisation company, the “Les Étoiles Pyrolympiques” show offers a twenty-minute journey into the world of the Olympic Games, a few weeks before their launch, to celebrate sport and its emotions. Free shuttles are planned from five districts (Val d’Amboise, Epinettes, Jardins de l’Ornay, Moulin de la Garde and Maison Neuve des Landes) at 9:30 p.m., and every ten minutes from Place Napoléon (Dromadaire station) between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.

The Herbiers. National holiday at Les Herbiers on the L’Étenduère site with aperitif concert, dance and fireworks from 7 p.m.

Talmont-Saint-Hilaire. Come celebrate July 14 at the Chapelle lake, starting at 7:30 p.m.: fanfare, concerts, catering, fireworks.

Saint-Hilaire-le-Vouhis. Entertainment throughout the day and fireworks

The Fault-on-Sea. Pyrotechnic creation by Jacques Couturier on the theme of “Olympic pyrotechnic stars” at the esplanade de la mer from 11 p.m.

Benet. Fireworks at the port of Sainte Christine

Fontenay-le-Comte. From 7 pm to 9 pm, musical entertainment with the banda El Gruppeto. From 9 pm to 11 pm, Food For Mood concert on the central stage, Place de Verdun. At 11:10 pm, fireworks. From 11:35 pm to 2 am, popular firefighters’ ball with a firefighters’ show!

The Island of Elle. The sports field comes alive all day long with numerous activities. Fireworks from 11 p.m.

Wanting. Concerts from 3 p.m. with the English group Rocket Science. From 8:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., dance party with DJ Benjamin Jarnier. 11 p.m., fireworks.
