The City of Circular and Sustainable Innovation announces the appointment of Mr. Denis Desrochers as Chairman of the Board of Directors as well as Mr. Israel Poulin to the position of General Manager.
Mr. Denis Desrochers brings expertise in governance and organizational management to the City. The one who was president of the board of directors of the Corporation of thanatologists of Quebec and who directs the Grégoire and Desrochers funeral complex in Victoriaville is “anchored in his community”, where he is an “active” player in various local initiatives. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from Laval University.
“Circular and sustainable innovation is the way of the future. As chairman of the board of directors, I am proud to contribute to the creation of a dynamic ecosystem that will propel our region and our businesses into a new era of responsible prosperity,” said Mr. Desrochers.
With more than 20 years of experience in the field of economic and sustainable development, Israel Poulin has demonstrated his leadership in the implementation of strategies aimed at accelerating the ecological transition of businesses. Its expertise combined with an understanding of regional and national issues positions the City “as a catalyst for change for SMEs and large businesses in the region”.

Several newcomers
During the last meetings, new members were appointed to complete the board of directors of the City of Circular and Sustainable Innovation.
This council now includes representatives from the Energy Transition Valley, the Center-du-Québec Regional Economic Development Association, as well as successful entrepreneurs from Centre-du-Québec.
These appointments “reinforce the City’s commitment to promoting sustainable and circular development, drawing on regional expertise to support businesses in their transition to a green and resilient economy”.
