88-year-old injured in accident
An 88 year old
was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Wednesday, December 4, around noon. Two cars collided on rue Passe-Debout (D602) in Saran.
The victim was transported to Orléans University Hospital, in a state of absolute emergency, by the Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Structure (Smur). Another person, aged 55
escaped unscathed.
Eight firefighters were mobilized, as well as the national police.
The sex of the victims was not communicated by the firefighters
Torn pipe triggers gas leak
Nineteen firefighters intervened on rue du Sullias, in Sully-sur-Loire, after a gas leak on a pipe, torn out by a public works machine. They were alerted shortly before 10:20 a.m., Wednesday December 4.
A security perimeter was set up and twenty-five people were evacuated. The technological risks unit of the Loiret firefighters went to the site, as well as the gendarmerie and the municipal police. The intervention ended early in the afternoon.
