Algeria Achraf Hakimi takes Morocco by surprise

Achraf Hakimi, right back of Saint-Germain, surprised his fans by sharing on his social networks a discreet escapade in the lively streets of Casablanca. While PSG benefits from a break, the Moroccan player took advantage of the opportunity to reunite with his family in the economic capital of Morocco. Dressed simply, he blended into the local decor, posing with the famous red taxis and strolling through the medina alongside his brother and sister.

Hakimi, far from the spotlight of European football, savored authentic moments: visits to small neighborhood grocery stores, warm exchanges with locals and a few souvenir photos with lucky fans. In a video, we see him smiling, enjoying the simple pleasures of Moroccan life, while remaining true to his roots. Accompanying his publications, he wrote with emotion: “The country was born”, recalling his deep attachment to Morocco, although he was born in Spain.

Beyond this moment of relaxation, Achraf Hakimi also stood out for his social commitment. It recently launched a program to promote the integration of young people with disabilities through sport. On the pitch, he also shines: elected player of the month for November by *Le Parisien*, he continues to write his story with PSG, having extended his contract until 2029. This trip to Casablanca shows one Hakimi at a time star and man with heart, rooted in his country of origin.

This escapade to Casablanca once again illustrates the simplicity and humility of Achraf Hakimi, despite his status as an international star. Between his success on the field and his commitment off it, he perfectly embodies the model of a modern athlete, close to his roots and keen to give back to his community. His fans, in Morocco and elsewhere, see him as much more than a player: a true symbol of inspiration.
