On Tuesday October 22, 2024, around 2:30 a.m., firefighters intervened in the Pontreau district, in Niort (Deux-Sèvres), to extinguish two vehicle fires, which had spread to six others. The criminal trail, which left little doubt, was confirmed by investigators this Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
A 21-year-old young man identified
The investigation revealed that a 21-year-old from Rochelle was the cause of these fires. The young man will appear before the Niort judicial court this Thursday, December 5, 2024.
