After its appearance before the Court of Cassation, the news of the case is excellent.
A hunger strike and a first legal victory
At the cost of 40 days of hunger strike and 21 kilos lost, Dominique Einhorn won her case. In any case with regard to the crucial stage represented by his appearance before the Court of Cassation on November 20.
In a publication on social networks, the Sarlat club has just reported the latest progress, and the news is excellent. The highest court of the French judiciary has, in particular, ordered the restitution of more than 660,000 euros unjustly seized from the businessman.
Maintained by the Bordeaux Chamber of Instruction, several charges against Dominique Einhorn will also very likely be canceled after dismissal.
Relief after the wait
Although a victory before the Court of Cassation is not an absolute guarantee, the referring courts comply with its opinion in a large majority of cases. This date of November 20, 2024 should therefore in all likelihood mark a first step towards repairing the damage caused to the life of Dominique Einhorn.
A relief, if only with regard to the health of the Alsatian who told us several weeks ago that heart problems due to stress had affected him well before his hunger strike. As well as on a financial level, the damage suffered amounted to more than 20 million euros.
“I am delighted with this judgment from the Court of Cassation. […] It is now up to the Investigative Chamber to apply and respect these decisions, because the previous ones, in particular those ordering the restitution of illegally seized funds, have still not been executed to this day,” responded Dominique Einhorn to 'Rugby News.
A counterattack that is being organized
Satisfied with this personal victory, Dominique Einhorn does not forget that he is not the only one to have been impacted by this affair. The tide has turned, but not only for him.
“The real fight, against collusion and corruption, has only just begun. My case revealed a web of lies and deception involving dozens of victims, some of whom, tragically, committed suicide before being able to obtain justice,” he says.
And continued: “More than 60 jobs were lost following the illegal liquidation of the companies I created. The moral, psychological and economic damage, estimated at more than 20 million euros, is immense and completely unacceptable. I will therefore put my voice and my means of communication at the service of other victims of this “organized fraud”. »
Not only could the wind have changed, but it is well on its way to blowing hard.
