In a theater displaying the No Hay billetes
The “Brindis d’Or” were awarded in the Parisian Théâtre du Gymnase which displayed a “no hay billetes” (600 people) this Monday, December 2 on the occasion of the first gala evening intended to reward the actors who distinguished in different categories to defend and/or transmit to the youngest the values of bullfighting. On the occasion of this evening, many aficionados from the south-east and south-west joined the capital. French professionals or personalities from the world of gastronomy (Alain Durournier), rugby (Didier Lacroix, Julien Tastet, Nolan le Garrec), the press (Aziliz Le Corre, journalist at JDD), the arts (Amandine Albisson, star dancer of the Paris opera), literature (Gaël Tchakaloff,) and also Dominique Coubes, director of the Gymnase theater), among many others, had wanted to be present to support this initiative…and possibly, for those nominated, to come and receive their reward.
The purpose of this gala evening was to reward 10 winners chosen from 30 candidates determined by a jury of 12 recognized bullfighting personalities. This was followed by a public vote in which more than 4,000 voters took part.
The evening was sponsored by the bullfighter on horseback Léa Vicens and the Maestro Sebastien Castellathe two standard-bearing figures in Europe and internationally of our bullfighting, to whom a vibrant tribute was very rightly paid and to whom was awarded a brindles of honor. It is also necessary to highlight the standing ovation reserved for Senator Laurent Burgoa to salute the permanent fight that he defends for the benefit of all the different bullfights.
At the opening of the evening, presented by the actor Arnaud Agnel, also in the running for an award, the Prosecution was spoken by Eric Lartigau, film director who notably directed the film “La family Bélier”
