The Toison d'Or in Dijon is transformed into a place of magic and solidarity for the end-of-year celebrations. After the big evening of lighting the Christmas decorations, the shopping center continues its momentum, inviting young and old to immerse themselves in the holiday atmosphere through a series of unforgettable events. From November 25 until the end of the year, come and discover a multitude of activities ranging from enchanted encounters with Santa Claus to solidarity initiatives in favor of the most deprived.
Meet Santa and create unique memories
This year again, Santa Claus chose the Golden Fleece as his preferred stopover before continuing his grand tour. From Monday to Sunday, young and old can come and meet Santa Claus on level 1 of the shopping center, near the Darty and Nespresso stores. A professional photographer is on hand to immortalize this magical moment, at a cost of €15 per photo. Members of the Toison d'Or loyalty program will benefit from a 50% discount on the first photo, and it is also possible to register for the program on site to benefit from this instant reduction. For those who are more independent, everyone is free to take their own photo with their personal camera at no cost.
Santa's hours are planned to suit everyone: present every day until December 31 (except Sunday 29), he will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sundays until 7 p.m.
Immerse yourself in the magic of the Christmas village
The shopping center has set up a real Christmas village, presenting an authentic market where local crafts, seasonal delicacies and costume jewelry await you. A perfect stroll to stock up on unique gifts, supporting local creators and adding a personal touch to the surprises under the tree. You will be able to wander through the stands located on level 0 and explore a multitude of products that will warm the hearts of your loved ones.
A united Christmas: the actions of the Blouses Roses
La Toison d'Or also reaffirms its solidarity by supporting the Blouses Roses, an association which, faithful to the appointment, offers several initiatives to make the holidays sweeter for those who need it.
On Saturdays December 7, 14 and 21, the association is organizing a large toy drive in the aisles of the center, near Carrefour. Visitors are encouraged to bring new or good toys – books, board games, stuffed animals, carts – for children hospitalized in the Dijon region. These donations will bring a little dream and comfort to those who spend their holidays in a hospitable environment.
Solidarity gift packages
From December 1 to 24, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Blouses Roses will also be present to wrap gifts for visitors to the center. By entrusting your packages to volunteers, you are participating in a great cause since all donations collected will be donated to actions in favor of hospitalized children and adults, as well as elderly people in retirement homes.
Sunday shopping and convenient services
For those who have not had time to finalize their purchases, the Toison d'Or opens its doors every Sunday in December, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., as well as on December 24 until 6 p.m. To facilitate the visit, free parking is available on two levels, offering hassle-free and comfortable access to the center. Various modes of soft transport are also planned to access the Toison d'Or from the city center of Dijon.
