According to La Libre Belgique, the MR and Les Engagés, who form the ruling coalition in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, finally reached an agreement to entrust the presidency of the RTBF board to Joëlle Milquetex-president of the cdH (ancestor of the Engagés).

“Joëlle has the material and the build to be able to preside over the destiny of such a public tool at a time when it will have to make strategic refocusing of its deployment”indicated Maxime Prévot to the daily, which published the information on its website Tuesday evening. The name of Joëlle Milquet was already circulating, but the liberals were initially not in favor of it.

The different parties submitted on Tuesday the names of the personalities they propose for the new CA. According to The Freefor the MR it is Nadia Geerts (vice-president), Corentin de Salle, the former bank boss and chief of staff of Georges-Louis Bouchez Axel Miller, Mathieu Raedts and Juliette Mariscal. For Les Engagés, apart from Joëlle Milquet, there would be Véronique Salvi and a third person who is still unknown.

For the socialists, the names of Rim Ben Achour, Gaëtan Servais and Jérémie Demeyer would have been proposed, while Ecolo and the PTB propose to maintain Baptiste Erkes and Michaël Verbauwhede respectively.
