A large fire brigade was deployed on Wednesday December 4 at the commercial port of , at the foot of the Bunge silos, the world leader in oilseed processing. The alert was given between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. after a fire was noted in one of the drying towers of the industrial site, specialized in the importation of soybeans and the manufacture of meal for animal feed. There were no injuries.

“The fire is contained”assures us the director of Bunge . Only cereals were destroyed. Around forty firefighters were sent to the scene, “this is the usual procedure”explains Brest sub-prefect Jean-Philippe Setbon.
