The rumor has been floating around the paddock for a long time, here it is official: Zandvoort will not go beyond the 2026 Formula 1 season.

Zandvoort: one more year on the calendar…

It is a double announcement that the Formula 1 governing bodies and the Dutch circuit made this Wednesday. On the one hand, the Dutch Grand Prix extended its existing contract with the queen disciplinebut only of one year until 2026. On the other hand, the North Sea Channel will disappear from the calendar after this deadline.
