The Timão is in great form with seven consecutive victories and aspires to add new success to his tally in the competition. Ramón Díaz’s team currently occupies 8th place with 50 points and, for now, holds the last spot for the pre-Libertadores.
On the other hand, Rogério Ceni’s team, coming off a comeback victory against Cuiabá away, also has 50 points, but is one position ahead of its rivals thanks to a better number of victories (14 against 13).
