3rd grade students from André-Chêne college in Fleury-les-Aubrais, near Orléans (Loiret) won the national prize in the “Discover our Constitution” competition in the cycle 4 category. The awards ceremony took place this Thursday November 21, 2024 in Paris.
What is this competition?
This annual event aims to raise awareness among young people about the Constitution by putting the rights and freedoms guaranteed as well as the great principles of the Republic, ahead.
The middle school students who won this prize were rewarded and congratulated for the creation of their board game “ What is the Constitution? It's up to us to play ».
Its originality and playful approach made it possible to convince the jury as well asAnne Genetet, mMinister of National Education and Laurent Fabius, president of the Constitutional Council.
The Orléans-Tours academy also applauded the investment of teachers, which was crucial in the realization of this ambitious project.
