The “RDC All Stars” team lost (2-3) to the Variétés Club de in a friendly match for peace in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). It was in the presence of the President of the Republic, Félix Tshisekedi, who traveled to the Martyrs of Pentecost stadium in Kinshasa and who gave the fictitious start of this charitable meeting whose proceeds will go to relieve the children displaced from this conflict but above all who put on a show by putting on his goalkeeper jersey to play the last 5 minutes.

It was a very symbolic meeting which pitted the former Glories of Congolese football, who were mixed with the current Leopards dames, qualified for the next African Cup of Nations in Morocco, with the Variétés Club de France, an association originally former French footballers but which opened up to several other former players as we observed on the ground this explanation. Note that in the “DRC All Stars” team, there were also well-known musicians and actors in the Congolese national artistic sphere.

The result obviously did not count in this explanation where the objective was to continue to hammer home on the international level a deadly conflict which has been killing civilian populations for almost thirty years who only want to live in peace and quiet like everyone else.
