This Monday evening, the Pecq municipal council officially took office. The 17 municipal councilors took the oath, including eight new faces, thus highlighting a significant renewal within the assembly.
With 12 councilors, the Community group begins this legislature with a solid position. “We hoped to be able to progress and keep the reins of the municipality. But having 12 seats was really unexpected,” the mayor told us at our microphone.
Among the new elected officials, Laure D’Haene (Pecq Autre), took the oath under the emotional gaze of her father, former mayor of the entity. “I am very happy that my daughter was elected, with almost the same score as me when I started. I hope that she will have the same career as me”, expressed Marc D’Haene.
As for the person concerned, it is a source of great pride for her to join the municipal council.
