2,500 tonnes less greenhouse gases with the heating network at the Technopôle Brest-Iroise

Brest Métropole, in partnership with ENGIE Solutions, is inaugurating a new heating network: a 5 km network powered by a biomass boiler room, supplied by the local wood industry.

This 8.80 million euro equipment will prevent the emission of 2,500 tonnes of greenhouse gases per year. A new pillar of its energy policy, the Technopôle Brest-Iroise heat network will be inaugurated on December 19, 2024, on the ENIB site in Plouzané.
