Apple announced yesterday that its headset Vision Pro will be launched at Taiwan next Tuesday, December 17, with pre-orders open from this Thursday, December 5 at 9:00 a.m.
The Vision Pro for Taiwan page on Apple's local site highlights pre-order and launch dates, while providing the usual details regarding the high-end headset. Apple's online store for Taiwan already has a shopping page where potential customers can view prices and options, such as storage capacities and ZEISS optical inserts.
Apple has two physical stores in the Taiwanese capital Taipei. These stores will offer 30-minute demo sessions of the Vision Pro headset. More details on these demo sessions will be communicated once pre-orders open.
Taiwan will become the thirteenth country or region where the Vision Pro will be available. After an initial launch in the United States in February, availability has expanded to Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, Hong Kong, Japan and in Singapore in June and July. The most recent additions, before today's announcement, were South Korea and the United Arab Emirates just a few weeks ago.
