During the night from Sunday to Monday, a squatted building on the Montée de la Boucle was the victim of a violent fire.
Although four occupants were injured, two of them seriously, the incident fortunately caused no casualties.
For the Lyon right, this fire was “written in advance”.
The group chaired by Pierre Oliver recalls that the building was the property of the City of Lyon. And that Grégory Doucet had not issued a danger order a little over a year ago, when the mayor of Caluire-et-Cuire had contacted him on this subject, informing him of the state of dilapidation of the premises. “The criminal liability of the mayor of Lyon is therefore engaged here”he says.
For the LR mayor of the 2nd arrondissement, the majority of the mayor of Lyon is “pushed by politically close groups”. “How many other squats are found in buildings belonging to the City of Lyon or, on its territory, to public actors such as social landlords? Are other tragedies needed to emerge from this blindness?”concludes Pierre Oliver.
