On November 22, a man was killed in the middle of the night in the small town of Pont-Audemer (Eure). According to the first elements of the investigation and the statements of the Évreux public prosecutor, on the night of the murder, the 33-year-old man went with a friend “to what was clearly a meeting place for a drug transaction. »
When they arrived, two cars were already there and the two men were quickly hit by gunfire. The driver managed to drive to the village fire station, but it was already too late for the passenger, who died a few moments later.
The suspects already known to the police
According to France Bleu, after several days of investigation, the gendarmes from the Rouen Research Section, accompanied by the Eure Gendarmerie Group and the GIGN, arrested three men.
-Indeed, during the night from Thursday to Friday last, three suspects already known for their involvement in various drug trafficking cases were arrested in Pont-Audemer. These three people aged 23, 20 and 33 were indicted for “organized gang murder and attempted organized gang murder”. Still according to our colleagues, one of the three defendants requested a deferred debate before the judge of freedoms. In pre-trial detention until trial, they risk life imprisonment.
