Historically positioned in the mobility energy segment, the TSG company has, over the past year, initiated a strategic shift to develop, through external growth, its BtoB solar activity. This has already resulted in the acquisition, last year, of two companies: the French JCM Solar and the South African Eco-Cycle Environnemental.
Its expansion in the field continues with the acquisition of Italian company Sky-nrg, specializing in the design, installation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems for B2B clients in various sectors, including utilities, industry and developers of solar power plants.
Based in Castiglione delle Stiviere (Mantua), the transalpine company achieves a turnover of 60 million euros per year. It has more than 100 employees, including 65 professionals responsible for coordinating a subcontracting network. Between 2021 and 2023, SKY-NRG has installed nearly 720 solar power plants and aims to provide more than 500 MW of solar energy to its customers by 2028.
Thanks to this integration, TSG hopes to achieve a turnover of 100 million euros in the solar energy segment. With a complete range of integrated electrical solutions – combining solar, electric charging stations, storage batteries and transformers – the group will be able to respond to the growing demand for photovoltaic installations in southern Europe and continue to carry out projects there. major solar projects, such as the one recently won at Trieste airport, in Italy (3.3 MWp).
