At the Guy Chavanne Gymnasium in Torcy, seniors gathered for an afternoon dedicated to the Olympics.

The twenty or so participants took part in a series of games designed to test both their physical and mental strengths. They notably participated in memory and goose games to stimulate their cognitive side, as well as blind courses and blind football, thus incorporating elements of the Paralympic Games. Balance and motor skills games also punctuated the afternoon.

The Olympics were an opportunity for Torcy seniors to challenge each other in a friendly way while celebrating the importance of movement and socialization. This afternoon brought together participants around a common goal: to stay active and dynamic, whatever their age.

The seniors who participated are registered for Adapted Physical Activities sessions, an initiative supported by the City and hosted by AS Mouvement. These programs aim to offer seniors regular opportunities to maintain their physical condition while promoting social interactions and mutual support within the community.
